In 2009, she began chronicling her own personal journey with infertility. What started as an anonymous blog with only a handful of followers, The Infertility Voice has since grown into an internationally-recognized leading resource within online infertility and women’s health communities.
Keiko’s writing and infertility story have appeared in Redbook, HuffPost, Metro News International, Rewire, Disney Baby, The Seleni Institute, BlogHer, Babble, among many other publications.
Keiko was named a Top 10 Online Influencer in the Infertility Community by ShareCare. In 2010, she received the Hope Award for Best Viral Video from RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association for her short film, What IF: A Portrait of Infertility. She was also recognized as a Volunteer of the Year by RESOLVE New England. As a tireless advocate for both infertility-sensitive legislation and the cultural empowerment for infertility patients, Keiko received a Health Impact Award in from Wellsphere.com. Her writing has also been twice-recognized as a BlogHer Voice of the Year Honoree in 2011 and 2012.
Professionally, Keiko is a writer, editor, digital storyteller, and content creator. From 2013 to 2015, she blogged for Disney Baby. From 2015 to 2017, Keiko covered news for Romper. In November 2017, Keiko joined digital parenting brand and publisher Red Tricycle as its News & Contributors Editor.
